Our story
Our home called Morning Glory
Morning Glory is at number 15, Carrer de la Riereta, a quiet street in El Raval a few steps from the Rambla del Raval. It’s run by Juanma and Rocío Peñalver.
It’s a place where family, friends and customers end up as one community, brought together by a love of art, music, books, poetry, painting, photography and design.
The kitchen
«We only understand one way of working… As a team and with a lot of love for what we do.»
Our dishes are made with fresh, quality ingredients: the eggs Benedict, the pancakes, the bowls, the Morning Glory salad with the French vinaigrette our chefs make. Every toast is made with sourdough bread from Turris bakeries.
Mamá Susana
«She sweetens our souls with her cakes, her cinnamon rolls, her vegan cookies and her hugs full of flour and love…»
Ask for the cake of the day: it might be her coconut and dulce de leche cake.
Mate
«Mate is more than just a drink, it’s a symbol of connection and togetherness. Part of South American culture, its essence lies in sharing, passing the mate from hand to hand while conversations and laughter flow.»
At Morning Glory we love bringing this tradition that celebrates friendship and good times.
The room
Come to work, write, read or create: there’s fast wifi, a relaxed, calm atmosphere and good playlists. Dogs are more than welcome too.

“[…] escondido en una calle lateral del Raval encontrarás esta pequeña joya con especialidades de café, tortitas, ensaladas, pasteles…”
“The star of the show, the reason there’s often a line snaking out the door, is the Eggs Benedict.”
